MISCELLANEOUS : ¤ Supplies : Make sure your boat is fully supplied before leaving in order to avoid difficulties later. In some countries after Puerto Rico it is difficult to find the basics (Cuba). ¤ Currency : Make sure you have $ US in notes of 1-5-10 as it will be in some countries (Cuba) the only way to purchase any goods. ¤ Pharmacy : Make sure you have on board all you need in case of emergency as it will be difficult to find any drug at all in some countries. ¤ Vaccination : No extra vaccination needed for this trip. ¤ Humanitary : All you can take to help children is more than welcome: pencils, text books, erasers etc. |
